1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy is issued by Investment CBI International LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States, which trades under the brand CBI Ventures. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to that company.

For the personal data described here, Investment CBI International LLC is the data controller. This means we decide why and how your personal data is processed. You can reach us by email at contact@cbi-ventures.com, or by post at our registered office: Investment CBI International LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal data we process when you use the CBI Ventures website at cbi-ventures.com and our applications and services, including Tradvex, our mobile trading-signals platform. Where a specific product has its own supplementary privacy notice, that notice applies together with this policy.

Our products are tools for information and education. Trading signals are not personal financial advice, and trading carries a real risk of loss. This policy covers how we handle your data, not the financial merits of any trade.

3. Information we collect

We collect only the data we need to run the service and to keep it secure. Depending on how you use our products, this can include:

  • Account details: your name and email address, and the display name you choose.
  • Authentication data: credentials used to sign in, session tokens, and records of sign-in activity used to protect your account.
  • Subscription and plan data: your plan level (for example free or VIP), plan history, and the status of any request you make to us.
  • Usage and analytics data: the pages and screens you view, the actions you take, and general interaction patterns that help us understand how the product is used.
  • Device and app diagnostics: device type, operating system version, app version, language settings, approximate region, and crash or error reports.
  • Support messages: the content of tickets, questions and correspondence you send us, and our replies.
  • Broker account numbers: where you choose to link a broker for verification, the account number you submit so we can confirm the account and apply the correct access.
  • Push-notification tokens: the device token that lets us deliver signal alerts and other notifications you have turned on.

We do not ask you to send us more sensitive personal data than the service requires. Please do not include passwords or full payment card numbers in support messages.

4. How we use your information

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide, operate and secure the service, including creating your account and keeping you signed in.
  • Deliver trading signals, alerts and other notifications you have chosen to receive.
  • Verify broker accounts you submit and apply the access or plan that follows from that verification.
  • Respond to your support requests and keep a record of our correspondence.
  • Understand how the product is used so we can fix problems and improve it.
  • Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Legal bases for processing

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, data protection law requires us to have a legal basis for each use of your personal data. We rely on the following bases:

  • Contract: to provide the service you have signed up for, such as running your account, delivering signals and verifying a broker account you submit.
  • Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, understand usage and improve our products, in a way that does not override your rights and freedoms.
  • Consent: for optional processing such as push notifications and certain analytics or cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that already took place.
  • Legal obligation: where we must process data to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or keep required records.

6. How signals and trader data work

Traders who publish signals on our platform never see your identity. When users react to a signal, follow it, or leave feedback, that information is shown to traders only in anonymized and aggregated form. A trader can see how many users followed a signal or how it was rated, but not who those users are.

This is a deliberate privacy feature, not a side effect. We designed the platform so that user identities stay separated from the trader side of the product, and we keep prices and positions protected on the server rather than exposed to the client.

7. Sharing your information

We share personal data only where it is needed to run the service or where the law requires it. This can include:

  • Affiliated brokers: where you choose to link or open a broker account, we may share the information needed to route you to that broker or to verify your account. We do this because you asked us to, and the broker then handles your data under its own privacy policy.
  • Service providers and subprocessors: trusted companies that help us operate the service, such as Vercel for hosting the website and Supabase for our backend and database. They may process personal data only on our instructions and under contract.
  • Legal and safety: authorities, regulators or advisers where we are required to disclose data by law, or where disclosure is needed to protect our rights, our users or the public.
  • Business transfers: if the company or its assets are involved in a merger, acquisition or reorganization, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

8. International data transfers

We operate from the United States, and some of our service providers process data in the United States and other countries. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this means your personal data may be transferred outside your home region.

When we transfer personal data internationally, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism, so that your data keeps a comparable level of protection. You can contact us for more detail on the safeguards that apply to a given transfer.

9. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy, or for as long as the law requires. Retention periods depend on the type of data: account and subscription records are kept while your account is active, and support records and security logs are kept for a limited period after they are created.

When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements.

10. Security

We take the security of your data seriously. We encrypt personal data in transit, restrict access to authorized staff and systems on a need-to-know basis, and protect sensitive values such as prices and positions on the server rather than the client. We monitor for suspicious activity and keep records that help us investigate incidents.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You also play a part: use a strong, unique password, keep your device and app up to date, and tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data. For users in the European Union and the United Kingdom, these include the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Port your data by receiving it in a portable format or asking us to transfer it where technically feasible.
  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@cbi-ventures.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time limits set by the applicable law.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you rights to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. You can use the same email address to make a request.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom and you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first, so please contact us before you do.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences and understand usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser and, where offered, through our cookie settings. For the full detail, see our Cookie Policy.

13. Children

Our products are financial tools intended for adults. The service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, our practices or the law. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the date shown at the top. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to tell you. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
